Antique pair of elephant foot stools with hidden compartments in the back and gilded accents. hand carved and hand painted. Black saddle on the back of the elephants lifts off to reveal a significantly sized compartment. Could be used to store blankets conspicuously.
Good condition structurally, some wood separating but still very strong, very heavy. Hand crafted, wear is consistent with age.
