Antique c1730 Cartes Des Indes Et De La Chine map By Guillaume Del'Isle, Jean Covens and Cornelius Mortimer. Map covers much of Asia, from China and Japan, south to New Guinea and the Moluccas, west through Malaysia and Indonesia to what is today Vietnam and Thailand, and India.


Published 1730 in Amsterdam. Showing a fictitious lake where the Himalayas are thinking it the source of the Ganges. Terra d"Yeco instead of Hokkaido and the imagined. Terra de la Compagnies on the upper right. Excellent condition with some overall toning and minor wrinkles at Lower Left.. Measures 24.5" x 25". On board (not attached), wrapped in cellophane.
