Vintage Caviar serving set of 5 pieces.

Natural horn spoons and serving shovel, 4 with sterling silver handles showing floral filigree detail. Typically used as caviar or egg spoons because the horn material is inert and does not alter the delicate flavor of the delicacy. The spoons are hand-cut and polished, with unique color variation in the horn ranging from blond to dark. These utensils were popular during the Victorian era and remain functional luxury items today.

Shovel measures 3 3/4"

Hallmarks on silver. Maker unknown.

One spoon has some residue on silver tip, I was unable to remove.
