VICTORIAN Theater Walking Stick Gadget Cane with Mother of Pearl OPERA Glasses

Rare and wonderful Victorian era walking stick with attached theater binoculars or opera glasses. German maker J G Obenhaus Senior opera glasses, dating from the early 20th century, in gilt brass with panels of MOP inlay. Mother of Pearl paneled shaft with brass mounts attached to wood stick.

Measures 41" total length with binoculars extended. Stick from tip to brass knob measures 37"

As is, opera glasses are functional, but show wear at rim of eye opening, as photographed. I would consider condition very good.
