Enchanting unique ceramic and rock artwork with light blues, yellows and grey glazes with rounded forms creating the appearance of a valley with trees and a setting sun. The bottom portion of the piece seem to mirror a reflection on water, using similar colors that echo from the top of the work. The cherry frame is sturdy and cuts through the lower third as a way to separate the viewers vision of the valley and the reflection. The frame has the ability to give splinters.
The back of the piece is signed by Stan Williams, an Oregon artist, and in his handwriting has named the piece "Fertile Valley".
This piece is deceivingly heavy and should be handled with care. There is some small areas of damage along the frame, areas of significance are included in photos.
