By The Vault by Gary Germer
Minus Plus

Large ceramic studio art sculpture.

A full-bodied female figure covered in sharp thorns across her nude body and limbs. She stands in red high-heeled shoes, with a head tilted upward and open mouthed with a vibrant red flower growing directly from her tongue.

The work blends playful or surreal aesthetics with a dark empowering look, possibly exploring the societal expectations, boundaries, and emotional weight placed on women.

Unfortunately can not find an artists signature. Most likely a Portland, Oregon or Pacific NW based artist considering the estate it is from.

Measures 25" tall x 6 1/2" x 4 1/2"

Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs.
