L'DEANE TRUEBLOOD "Playmates" Bronze Sculpture of Three Young Girls
This evocative sculpture by L'Deane Trueblood captures the hesitancy and joy of companionship in childhood. This freestanding solid bronze depicts three young figures holding hands, each with unique hairstyles and dress. L'Deane Trueblood displays a unique gift in expressing both the internal innocence of small children and their external softness. This sculpture promises to bring a sense of playfulness and childlike joy to any garden, patio, or outdoor space.
Ms. Trueblood uses her personal experience as inspiration for her sculpting, and this particular work was inspired by three young girls she saw while driving through Santa Clara. L'Deane Trueblood works in the intersection of two passions of hers: fine arts and the beauty of childhood. With a BFA from the University of Oklahoma and extensive experience in early childhood education, her love of the subject matter and expertise in the medium of bronze sculpture is evident. L'Deane Trueblood also founded and directed the first Montessori school in southern Utah, providing even more inspiration for further works. Her devotion to family and art is recognized by many, with this sculpture proudly on display in St. George, Utah and Edmond, Oklahoma.
