Large ALEBRIJE Colorful FOX Mexican Folk Art Wood Carving Figurine Sculpture

Authentic Oaxacan alebrije, handcrafted by the renowned Susano Morales family workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico. With it's elongated lean body and large jutting ears, my oh my, what could it be? Possibly a fox? Well, I am unsure, but whatever it is, it is gosh darn adorable! This whimsical sculpture is carved from sustainably sourced copal wood and distinguished by its vibrant blue intricately detailed body and striking yellow-lined ears. Removable ears and tail can be arranged in different angles.

Measurements approximate depending on how the ears or tail are placed. Measures 9" tall x 18 1/2" x 6"

Excellent condition. Very minor wear to paint.
