Limited edition original Western bronze sculpture on wood platform "Rocky Mountain Trapper" by Oregon sculptor, Dan Huber.

Huber is well-known for his detailed, expressive cast bronze sculptures focusing on the American West, frontier historical figures, cowboys, and native wildlife. Among his notable works is a commissioned, historical bronze statue of the famous Oregon mountain man and pioneer, Joe Meek, who spent 11 years trapping in the Rocky Mountains. I believe this is a small scale bust of Meek.

Signed, dated 1974, titled, and marked limited edition 6/30 in bronze at base rim. Comes with COA

Measures 10 1/2" x 7" x 7" tall, including attached wood stand.
