Professionally framed in gilt wood, each vary slightly in size, as follows:

'Pearl of the Orient' measure 27" x 19 1/24"

'Beauty of Bagdad' measures 27 1/2" x 21 1/4"

'Arabian Dancer' measures 28 1/4" x 22"

'Harem' measures 27 3/4" x 20 1/2"

Unframed, each measures 21" x 15"

Complete with original portfolio. Interior of portfolio shows spotting. Serigraphs and frames are in excellent condition.

Erté was a Russian-born French artist and designer renowned for his stylized fashion illustrations, theatrical set designs, and elegant Art Deco aesthetic. The four framed prints depict character and costume designs heavily inspired by the classic Middle Eastern folk tales of One Thousand and One Nights (Arabian Nights)
