Incredibly sweet Vintage Ken Edwards Mexican pottery turtle figurine from the El Palomar studio in Tonalá, Mexico. 

Crafted in Tonalá, Jalisco, Mexico, this highly collectible high-fire stoneware piece belongs to the popular 'El Palomar Blue' collection. 

The turtle's shell showcases folk art elements, including hand-painted stylized blue bird, butterflies, and whimsical floral motifs against a textured pale blue/grey clay background. The head peeks out with large black eyes and detail, all highlighted in earthy cinnamon brown tones.

Measures 3 1/2" x 3" x 2 1/2" tall.

Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs.
