Incredibly sweet Vintage Ken Edwards Mexican pottery, casserole serving dish or bowl with lid and handles at each side, from the El Palomar studio in Tonalá, Mexico. 

Crafted in Tonalá, Jalisco, Mexico, this highly collectible high-fire stoneware piece belongs to the popular 'El Palomar Blue' collection. Showcasing iconic folk art elements, including hand-painted stylized blue birds and whimsical floral motifs against a textured pale blue/grey clay background. The dish is beautifully framed with organic cinnamon brown accents.

Measures 4 1/2" tall, including finial x 10 1/2" including handles x 8"

Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Faint markings in pottery at base showing Mexico and signature critter.
