Antique, late Edo era, Japanese blue and white porcelain Soba Choko cup hand painted in traditional Sometsuke underglaze. 

Featuring hand painted wisemen or scholars amongst bamboo trees

Versatile handle-less ceramic vessel traditionally used for soba dipping sauce and later for tea or sake. Would also make a nice little pot for your lucky bamboo.

Measures 3" tall x 3 1/4"

Excellent condition, no cracks or repairs. Mild wear to glaze, typical for age.
