Set of 4 charming miniature Western watercolor paintings painted on cigarette paper by Boulder, Colorado artist, Barbara East. Each signed and dated 1973.  From left to right, the paintings depict essential moments of American frontier life: a horse being tended to outside a barn, a mare with her foal, a cowboy herding a Hereford cow and calf, and a pair of pack horses being led along a trail

Born in 1950 in Boulder, Colorado, Barbara East is a lifelong cowgirl and rancher whose art reflects her deep connection to the Western landscape

The frames are not the best and I would suggest reframing these precious little paintings. The paintings are in excellent condition.

Each painting measures approximately 2 5/8" x 1 1/2".
