Victorian Montesinos (Mexican, 1944) limited edition 10 of 250 vintage brooch pin. Known for her ethereal, magical realism oil paintings of women, Montesinos jewelry line translates her paintings into wearable art.

This is a wonderful figurative Art Deco style pin inspired by one of her very own paintings (see last photo) from her  1980's"Out of My Dreams" series. Her face, possibly made of rock crystal showing dark painted eyes. Set on sterling silver with heavily beaded sterling hairline that falls into a fringe of dangle beads.

Marked at back "CFA Sterling 10/250 V Montesinos"

CFA stands for Circle of Fine Arts, a major fine art publisher and distributor that collaborated with renowned fine artists to produce limited-edition art objects, sculptures, and jewelry pieces. They also created the well known Erte line.
