Antique FOLK ART Carved DOG Animal & Bearded MAND Double Face Walking Stick

Antique, late 19th century folk art walking stick carved from a single piece of wood. 

The cane features an intricate, surrealistic carved design where 2 figures seamlessly blend into one another. The top portion of the handle features a stylized animal dog head with long snout that extends outward to form the grip, while the reverse side reveals a bearded man that doubles as part of the animals body. Flowery carvings continue from the neck to upper shaft.

Measures 35 3/4" long x 3 1/4" x 1 1/2".

Excellent condition, minor scuffs and markings in wood.
