Chinese Swatow ware plate, likely dating from the late Ming Dynasty (16th-17th century). Swatow ware, also known as Zhangzhou ware, is a type of Chinese export porcelain primarily produced in the Zhangzhou region of Fujian province. It is characterized by its somewhat coarse and rustic appearance, like this one featuring underglaze blue decoration with natural pottery showing through. 

Measures 10 1/4" x 2" tall.

Excellent condition, minor wear to glaze, no major chips, cracks, or repairs.
