Beatles White Album UK 1981 Mono Apple XEX 709-2/-4 Rare Reissue w/ Inserts EX
The Beatles – The White Album (1981 UK Mono Reissue – Apple Labels, Complete Set)
For sale is a verified 1981 UK mono reissue of The Beatles – White Album, pressed on Apple Records with the word “MONO” printed on the label. This version was issued as part of EMI’s limited mono reissue campaign in 1981, prior to the 1982 mono box set, and uses the original 1968 tube-cut metalwork (XEX matrix numbers), preserving the sound of the original UK mono pressing.
These early reissues are prized for their analog authenticity and rarity—especially when found with Apple labels, rather than the later Parlophone versions used in the box set.
