Lovely Japanese lacquer writing box with ornate gilt Ikebana and window design. Hinged lid opens to 4 open compartments and one with lid. The area showing 3 compartments can be removed to show a hidden compartment underneath. Measures 10" x 7 1/4" x 2". Excellent condition, light chips in lacquer at corners (as photographed).
