Gorgeous Antique Mahogany Federal Period American Cellarette With Stunning Inlay & Lion Handles

Beautifully crafted antique mahogany buffet table or credenza in an American federalist style. This credenza has a demilune shape that curves around on the sides. There are three different types of compartments on the front. There is a long top drawer that is lined with felt for sterling. On the left of the drawer is a large box shaped drawer to store bottles. The compartment on the right has a swing door that opens up to a space that would best be used for storing wine glasses. Each compartment has the capability to be locked, the original keys are included. 

The front facade is beautifully decorated with inlaid wood in a fanned design. The two handles on the left and right compartment doors are lions heads with a ring in their mouths. 

Great condition. Small scratching on the top, nothing significant. Some imperfections in the wood have caused a small rift on the right side. This credenza was used in the decoration of the personal home of a well known high end interior designer from Portland, OR.
