Eric Jacobsen (American, 1966) impressionist landscape oil painting on board, titled at back 'The Hay Barn' Jacobsen is known for his plein air paintings, which are created outdoors on-site.

Rural landscape features a farmhouse set against a backdrop of trees and a light blue sky. The foreground shows a field with varied brushstrokes suggesting grass and earth. The color palette is dominated by natural tones, with greens, browns, and blues creating a sense of pastoral tranquility. May be a site in Oregon, as many of Jacobsen's paintings are. 

The frame is gilded, which contrasts with the more rustic and natural scene depicted in the painting. 

Signed at lower right. Nice gilt wood frame measures 16" x 14", painting measures 10" x 8". Excellent condition. Nice bold color, much better in person.
