Eric Jacobsen (American, 1966) impressionist landscape oil painting on board, titled at back 'French Glen' I am assuming this is a landscape of French Glenn Oregon. Jacobsen is known for his plein air paintings, which are created outdoors on-site. The painting depicts a rural landscape with a focus on a cluster of trees in the center, set against a backdrop of rolling hills and a cloudy sky. The trees are rendered in shades of yellow and green, suggesting it might be autumn or late summer. The frame is gilded, which contrasts with the more rustic and natural scene depicted in the painting. 

Signed at lower right. Nice gilt wood frame measures 16" x 14", painting measures 10" x 8". Excellent condition. Nice bold color, much better in person.
