Eric Jacobsen (American, 1966) impressionist landscape oil painting on board. Jacobsen is known for his plein air paintings, which are created outdoors on-site. The painting features trees, a field, and distant hills under a cloudy sky, all rendered in a loose, painterly style typical of impressionism. The frame is ornate and gilded, which contrasts with the more rustic and natural scene depicted in the painting. 

Signed at lower right. Nice gilt wood frame measures 17" x 14", painting measures 11 1/2" x 8 1/2". Excellent condition. Nice bold color, much better in person.
