Chinese Swatow ware plate or shallow bowl. Swatow ware, also known as Zhangzhou ware, is a type of Chinese export porcelain primarily produced in the Zhangzhou region of Fujian province. It is characterized by its somewhat coarse and rustic appearance, like this one featuring underglaze blue decoration with natural pottery showing through. 

Measures 11" x 2 1/2" tall.

Excellent condition for old age, some wear to glaze. Heavy crazing shows on one side, as photographed. No major chips, cracks, or repairs.
