Beautiful antique Persian illuminated manuscript page with script and a finely detailed painting in bright colors of Timur holding court in a garden scene surrounded by courtiers engaged in various courtly activities—playing music, drinking tea, and presenting gifts to the sovereign.

Frame measures 13 1/2" x 18", manuscript measures 11" x 8". Excellent condition for age, obvious toning to paper.
