Stunning Charles Hollis Jones Bob Hope King Bed Frame with Four Posts in Lucite & Solid Brass

A beautiful King size four post bed frame with a soft white fabric head board and matching skirt. Striped fabric hanging from the back rod is included and removable. Clear acrylic posts from top to bottom, fun filials at the top of each post, joined with silver toned hardware. Gorgeous bed frame for anyone who wants a traditional bed post design but is worried about making a small room feel heavy. 

Designed by the American artist and furniture designer Charles Hollis Jones who is known for his use of acrylic and Lucite. This bed frame is an archetype of his style of furniture, which was most notably commissioned by Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball and Johnny Carson.

Great condition, slight discoloration on the head board at head-level, and some on the skirt where feet would hit the fabric while getting out of bed. Nothing that spot cleaning/steam cleaning couldn't fix, and not terribly noticeable with a mattress, bedding and pillows.
