Rococo Inspired Louis XIV Bracket Clock c.1920 with Burl Wood & Gilt Details

Stunning Louis XIV rococo inspired style bracket clock from the 1920s. Made from burl wood and decorated around the edges, corners, finials, and feet in metal gilt details. Glass door in the middle of the body that swings open easily to reveal the clock face. Clock face has roman numerals, key included. When wound up clock produces soft/bright chime. 2 gilt figures under clock face who're dancing with a harp and leaves. Floral and roman antiquity figures are depicted throughout the gilt decoration.
Four finial acorn shaped feet, elevates clock 2" above ground. Bottom of body is decorated w gilt scrolled design and 3 descending ribbons in the middle. Back of clock opens for easy access into the back interworking's of the clock.
