CHINESE Blue & White Porcelain Figural Landscape Hat or WIG STAND

Cylindrical Chinese perforated hat or wig stand. Porcelain with cobalt blue underglaze showing a figural and landscape design. These cylindrical objects with the pierced openings along the sides were produced to place large hats or wigs on which allowed air to circulate around the interior of a hat after wearing. Could also be used as a candle stand or vase if you a glass interior. Often these are turned in to lamps. Comes with custom base stand. Measures 11 1/4" tall x 4 3/4", not including stand. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs.
