A Contemporary Chinese Export Porcelain Hong Bowl for Gumps

Late 20th century, hand-painted porcelain bowl for Gumps of San Francisco. Punch bowls with the hongs (foreign trading houses) were fashionable during the 18th century with the European market. This pattern was reimagined by Gumps into this elegant blue and white classic look in the early 20th century.

Measures 12" x 6". Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs.
