This beautiful R. J. Horner Victorian solid oak credenza c.1890 features hand carved putti, seated griffon pillars and an original beveled glass mirror. There are five fitted drawers up top with lion mask and shell drawer pulls. There are three cabinets, one of which has four pull out trays, each of the lockable cabinet doors is adorned with stylized griffon heads, ornate scrolled fauna and shields. There is one long drawer at the base, supported by caryatid front legs atop lions paw feet. At some point in its life casters were added to the base making maneuverability an easier task. The putti mount up top was professionally repaired and has been stabilized to prevent future damage, everything else is in original unaltered condition.
