Red Antique Qing Period Chinese Lacquer Chinoiserie Book Cabinet Hand-Painted Figure Design with Birds & Flowers

Beautiful antique red lacquer Chinese book cabinet. Original woodworking and hardware, hand carved and painted in a thoughtful Chinoiserie style, front doors depict a garden scene with female figures gathered at the edge of a building. The sides and top of the cabinet have detailed scenes of birds and tree branches. Authentically made during the Qing Dynasty around the years 1862-1875. Popular furniture item in China at the time.

Front panels are easily removeable and open up to a single shelf and two small drawers. Lots of space and organizational options for whatever you decide to store!
