Gorgeously carved bust by 19th century German sculptor, Emil Wolff (1801-1879) of the Roman Goddess Diana. His work is prominently displayed across Europe and is very well known. His works consistently sell for way over estimated auction prices. His signature can be found on the back side of the bust. He rose to fame through his accurate and beautiful depictions of classical antiquity techniques and his use of popular myths from Greek Gods and Goddesses.

Deer hoof and pelt draped over the left shoulder.
