Born 1965 in Oxford, England, Paul moved to America in the Spring of 1989. With a passion for carrying on the tradition of Plein Air painting, he was primarily taught through countless life studies and master arts in England and America. Paul has been greatly influenced by Bye Bitney, Karl Dempwolf and many of the 19th and 20th century masters of Europe, America, Sarolia, Fechin, Sargent and Sisley.
As and artist member of the American Society of Marine Artists anda member of Oil Painters ofAmerica Paul strives to communicate his view on both color and brush stroke.
