SaleLate 19th century print on paper reproducing the fresco of 'Battle of Constantine Against Maxentius, painted by Raphael. The original painting was part of Raphael's commission to decorate the rooms that are now known as the Stanze di Raffaello in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican.
Artists and printer's name Angelo Riggi below image and with coat of arms at lower center.
Very good condition, some discoloration to paper edges, but does none detail of print.
Board measures 47" wide x 34", actual print measures 46" x 33".
Placed on board with cellophane wrap. If you would prefer the item be shipped in a tube for much less, I can remove it from cellophane. Shipping cost is only high due to size.
