Yoruba beaded purse from the people of Nigeria. Bright blue, yellow, red, and green seed beads on cloth of canvas, form an elephant and face design. Believed to be older, but not antique. Strap measures 14", actual pouch measures 12 1/2" x 10 3/4". Very good condition, light wear and minimal bead loss.
