The Abercorn Brick and Tile Works was a historically prominent industrial site located in Portobello, Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded at the turn of the 19th century, it specialized in salt-glazed clay goods, bricks, and earthenware before eventually transitioning into industrial glass manufacturing later in the 20th century.

This walking stick would have been a highly valued item in the Victorian age as a gift from peers or workers to commemorate a significant milestone.
