Antique Bayon style Khmer bronze figurine depicting the Buddha sheltered by the Naga serpent king Muchalinda. The Buddha is seated in a meditative pose on the coiled body of the Naga, with the serpent's multiple heads forming a canopy overhead. According to Buddhist legend, the Naga protected the Buddha from a great storm sent to disturb his meditation.

Measures 3" tall x 1 1/4" x 3/4"

Excellent condition, nice dark antique green patina.
