Gorgeous Franco Albini Desk desgined and produced in 1958 for Knoll. Currently retails new at $6000. The glass top is easily removeable and very sturdy. Made with tempered glass, the edges were made to fit perfectly into the custom formed metal ends of the base. The base is designed with a beautiful mid-century modern X formation on either ends with a middle rod connecting the two sides. The two floating drawers are stacked on top of each other on the outer right edge, appearing to balance in the middle of the connecting rod.
Ok condition, some small scratches on glass top and a small blue spot on the front top drawer.
