268 pages hardcover book about the two charity concerts that Elvis performed at the Ellis Auditorium in Memphis on February 25, 1961 includes first-hand accounts from people who were there, newspaper and magazine articles from the time, and many rare and newly-discovered photographs. Also detailed is Elvis' visit to the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville on March 8, 1961 to receive an honorary colonelship. Accompanying the book is a CD with recordings of both this ceremony and an earlier press conference together with the mono version of Elvis' classic 1961 LP, Something For Everybody.
As an added bonus, the book comes with a CD containing the mono version of 'Something For Everybody' plus recordings of Elvis' press conference, held at the Hotel Claridge in Memphis on February 25, 1961, and of the presentation of honors at the Tennessee State Capitol just 11 days later.
