'In My Father's Honor' signed limited edition bronze statue by Oregon artist, David Manuel (American, 1940). Depicts a powerful, symbolic meeting between two distinct worlds and generations: a Native American leader in a full, magnificent feathered headdress and a 20th-century United States military service member. Two figures stand over a traditional military footlocker or chest. The Native American elder is handing a folded item or artifact directly to the service member, representing a profound passing of honor, legacy, or historical remembrance between a father figure and a son in service.
