Chinese red seal ink pad, traditionally used for calligraphy and stamping seals. It consists of a red, oil-based cinnabar or vermilion paste contained in a decorative blue-and-white porcelain jar. Lid of the jar shows a dragon design. The paste in this is unused and covered. Lid has fleabite chips.

Measures 2 1/4" x 1/2".
