CHINESE Archaic BIRD Bronze Ware Gold Accent Ritual WINE Vessel Pitcher
Archaic style Chinese bronze vessel, modeled after ritual bronze ware from the Western Zho Dynasty.
Stylized bird pitcher with removable head (lid) and zoomorphic dragon handle. Bird sits upon 2 feet. Shows heavy blue/green patina with stylized gold snake coil and birds at each side, and a large gold toad on its protruding belly.
Measures 9 1/2" tall x 6" x 4 1/2"
