Antique CHINOISERIE Chinese Hand Painted Lacquer Wood RICE Bin Box with Lid

Large antique Chinoiserie painted wood bin, often used historically as a rice barrel or basket. Features a black lacquered wood body decorated with hand-painted figural, floral, and bird scenes.

Elongated oval shape with metal loop handles at each side and removable lid. Lid opens to large open space for storage.

Measures 19 1/4" x 12 1/2" x 13 1/2" tall.

Overall excellent condition for age, shows obvious wear, as photographed. Solid condition, no substantial damage.
