Hand-carved, brightly hand-painted wooden Balinese Barong mask, a protective demon mask from Indonesia. It represents virtue and the guardian spirit in Balinese mythology, often used in traditional dances that portray the classic battle between good and evil. Has string attached to back for hanging on wall.
